Keprulf and the Cerberus

(Image above does not depict proper three headed creature, will be replaced in time)
The Cerebrus are a powerful Canine like entity with godlike powers as descendent - direct creations of Veekandir. They are char-black fur and have red, ember eyes. They are said to be the guardians of the Grawl (Hell) and afterlife, and the children creations of Veekandir - War. It is incredibly rare to see one outside of the Grawl or performing their duties of the guardians of the afterlife, only on exceptionally rare occasions will one need to deviate from their duties, or are given alternative duties, there are also some who seek alternative lives of their own, but this is a rare kind.

Cerberus stand tall, roughly six feet; eight inches. They can open the gateways between some realms, and can smell the difference between living and dead souls. They can also generate an absurd amount of heat, even summoning fire. It is said that some of the hierarchs of the Cerberus have black wings.

Long ago, Veekandir brought the souls of three Direwolves together and through his own power, created the Cerberus. As a result, the direwolves were merged into a three headed monstrosity who was tasked to guard the gates of Grawl, ensuring the masters would never leave the duty of their station unkept, his name became Keprulf. The first generation of the Cerberus which was created by Veekandir in the process of creating Keprulf were tasked with leaving the Grawl and capturing the lost souls which had escaped there, and in future, hunt down anyone else who would escape the Grawl otherwise. These were called the Jeger, and only twelve were originally made. Their names were Girrosh, Ikvee, Rokthom, Ivelrakor, Kielrok, Heigrolvar, Y'krav, Ihmdahk, Gmor, Sreevah, Loktah, and Grimheist.

Upon the giving of their task and purpose, the Cerberus went out into the world and began hunting down anyone who was meant to have already fallen into the Grawl and found a way to directly escape it, or who had been resurrected to a full enough extent, and come back to the world of the living.
